The Skipper on the Leaf
This is Atalopedes campestris, or Sachem, or Field Skipper.
In trying to identify it, I stumbled across this handy checklist. The website itself is very interesting and looks like it will prove useful.
Males are usually mostly orange, so I’m fairly certain this one is a female.
