You obviously have such great acess to your wildlife studies and ventures. On average, about how far from your home do you travel when on your photographic ventures?

Most of the time it’s just five or ten minutes by car. Montauk, where the whale watching tour went out of, is about an hour in good traffic by car. There’s an aquarium about fifteen minutes away, and various nature centers, ecology centers, game farms, etc, within minutes. Stretches of beaches, bays, marshes, within biking distance. County, state, and national parks and preserves all over the place. A lot of people don’t realize Long Island is rich in nature (sometimes not even the folks who live here year round).
