The Deer in the Creek
My mother was coming home from “the club” (one of the local health club chains where locals and summer folk alike flock to get fit, play tennis, and shoot the breeze) when she spotted this group of deer in the creek. Fortunately we live close to the club and this creek is less than halfway there, and I was able to make my way down after her call to see (and photograph) for myself before the deer got spooked and headed back into the woods.
